All our firewood is dried, cut and split locally. We do not import our wood from abroad.
Our kiln dried hardwood logs are dried below 20% moisture for a warmer, cleaner, and longer-lasting burning fire, perfect for log burners, stoves, and fire pits.
All our logs are cut to approximately 9-10 inches or 225-250 millimetres, which is the perfect size for most fires and wood-burning stoves.
Less moisture in our firewood means it is easier for you to light, produces less smoke, less pollutants which is better for you and the planet and there is less ash to clean up afterwards.
We strongly advise storing all kiln dried hardwood from Clare Timber Products in a rainproof and dry environment. Any close contact with water or high humidity for a long extended period will result in the loss or reduced output of the firewood .
